Bleaching Products
Home bleaching system: Custom made trays made to house the tooth whitening gel. It is designed to wear as you sleep, or if you wish during the day. Our office uses Opalescence products which is a dentist-controlled, dentist supervised take-home bleaching system dispensed in unit dose syringes. It is a clear, flavored, high viscosity, sticky, 10, 15, 20% carbamide peroxide gel (ph 6.5). Bleaching occurs from the peroxide penetrating into the enamel and dentin and oxidizing the offending stains within the tooth. Please call for you complimentary cosmetic exam!
Home bleaching system: Crest Whitestrips Supreme, looks similar to “tooth band-aids”. The strips contain the bleach that adheres to the teeth. They should be worn on your upper and lower teeth twice a day for 30 minutes. It will take 21 days to complete your kit. This bleaching system is likely to need to be repeated a couple times a year. These strips are 3x as strong as the Whitestrips sold in retail stores. Please call for your complimentary cosmetic exam!
Fluoride Products
Just for Kids- is a brush on therapy for cavity protection. 0.4% Stannous fluoride brush- on gel that comes in fruity flavors that kids love! The gel has been shown to be an effective decay preventive home-use gel when used as directed in a conscientiously applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care.
PerioMed- is a 063% stannous fluoride concentrate treatment(mouthrinse) for gingival inflammation, sensitivity and tooth decay. With a rich cinnamon flavor, it can add extra protection for adults in preventing the dreaded decay. This can be used with home irrigators also.
ControlRx Toothpaste- is a refreshing vanilla mint flavor toothpaste with Microdent. This toothpaste can be used by the young and older patient. This toothpaste is the strongest fluoride toothpaste available, and is comparable to Prevident toothpaste with 5000 ppm of fluoride concentration.
Mouthrinse Products
Colgate Peroxyl- which is recommended by our office for canker sores, gum irritations, denture and mouth sores, orthodontic irritations, mouth burns, and cheek bites. The mouthrinse has a oxygenating action that helps to remove oral debris, this facilitates healing and alleviates discomfort.
